Sadly, Nixon doesn't actually appear anywhere in this comic except on the cover. However, it's an interesting historical footnote that Jackie Jokers testified as a key witness in the Watergate hearings. Here's an actual transcript:

Prosecutor: Mr. Jokers, would you mind telling the Senate, why did the ghost have a terrible time at the Halloween party?

Jokers: Sir, I believe it was because he didn't have any body to dance with.

Prosecutor: HEY-OH!

This cover, unfortunately, doesn't lie. What part of "David Letterman Meets the Avengers" seemed like a good idea, Marvel? Let's hope this was the last assistant editor's month. Note how the Avengers' heads are backwards in the indicia. SO WACKY!

Wow, check out those uncanny resemblances. Uh, yeah, I guess uncanny is the word.

And here we see Dave with his next guest, Crispin Glover... no, that's just some idiot who thought a talk show would be a good place to attack Superheroes.

In this issue of Transformers, our titular sentient robots cross paths with Brooo....
....BRICK SPRINGHORN AND THE TENTH AVENUE BAND!!! Hey, all you folks remember that big 80s hit "Born in America", right??

Yes, seeing a giant goddamn robot at a rock concert wouldn't concern me at all, so long as BRICK SPRINGHORN kept playing. Good thing Marvel didn't decide to trademark the name "big man" or Clarence Clemmons might've had to find another nickname.

Indeed it must, Bumblebee. Indeed it must.
